Vodafone launches White BlackBerry 9900 on contract deals

UK network Vodafone has just launched the elusive white edition of RIM’s BlackBerry Bold 9900 which is now available on selected contracts.

The pale new variant rides in with the same 1.2 GHz Processor and 768 MB onboard RAM as the original 9900 in black, which was release in August. This along with 8GB of storage, plus microSD slot supporting up to 32 GB cards with a 5-megapixel rear-facing shooter and NFC connectivity. Regardless of skin tone, both BlackBerry Bold 9900 models also feature the tandum functions of BlackBerry traditional QWERTY keyboard and the recent addition of a 2.8” touchscreen.

Vodafone is offering the new white BlackBerry Bold 9900 free-of-charge to contract customers, new and existing, on a £39 a month tariff – which also provides 1000 call time minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB data download. Alternatively the 9900 is available on a slightly more beefy contract costing £46 for a minimum of 18-months. For this higher fee customers gain an extra 200 minutes, the same unlimted texts, but only 500MB per month data – however, Openzone access and 25MB of European data is thrown in to the deal.

If you don’t fancy forking out as much for a contract, there’s a £36 which mirrors the £39 package only with 500MB data, and a one off payment for the white BlackBerry Bold 9900 handset with is £99.
