UPDATE: Phones 4U Confirms Nokia Lumia 900 in White & Black Available Now in All Stores & Online

Following up from the Gadget Helpline’s earlier blog item relating to the early release of the Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone in White from Phones 4U, we have now been in contact with the retailer directly to discover that the rumour is true and the gadget is now available from all Phones 4U high street stores and online in White (exclusively) and Black colours.


Contrary to the previous confusing source report which suggested the Lumia 900 was set to go on sale on May 27th, the White edition Windows Phone will actually be on sale as an exclusive only to Phones4U, until May 27th when other stockists will begin selling the gadget. And as well as the generous 4.3” ClearBlack AMOLED display, impressive 8-megapixel camera and vast range of pre-installed Microsoft friendly apps contained withing the hardware itself, the Phones 4U Lumia 900 offering also comes complete with a set of Nokia/Monster branded HD stereo headphones, usually worth £199 – completely free of charge while stocks last.

The Lumia 900’s release date has been surrounded in controversy. Original believed to go on public sale in the U.K on April 27th, this date was corrected by Nokia which confirmed it would go on sale on May 14th (this Monday). After the official word Phones 4U promised it would be the first in Europe to stock the Windows Phone and clearly the retailer does not aim to disappoint, releasing the smartphone 3 days ahead of schedule and in two exclusive colours.
