Google+ Gets a New Update With Added Features

[tab name=’News’]

Google has announced yet another update to its struggling Google+ social network, and although the on-going battle between the big G and Facebook is seemingly won, Google is keen to keep the service rolling as the usage figures are not improving.

The latest update was outlined by Google+ Product Manager Sarah McKinley in a blog post from her G+ profile which you can see here.

The key features of the updates include the option to post to your feed directly from your profile page, you’ll also be able to refresh the look of your profile with some new stock cover photos and galleries, while any new photos added will be automatically resized and (vertically) adjustable in their new home.

Google is also adding a share box to your personal or business profile, and states they are making cover photos easier to manage.

The update will be roiling out to all users over the next couple of days so if you still use your Google+ profile click online and have a look.

If you have a Google+ profile and don’t use it we would advise checking out the recent changes Google has made to the service and try it out again, as the fledgling social network is better than most people give it credit for.
