Sony Ericsson Nozomi leaks again, dual-core processor and 720p display?

More news is filtering through from rumour land about the unannounced Sony Ericsson Nozomi smartphone.

You’ll probably remember that the other week, we brought you some rumour news about the much talked about handset and it’s speculated features.

Well, the latest bit of info we’ve obtain from the Chinese tech forum it168.com suggests that the future flagship Sony Ericcson handset will feature a dual-core proccessor clocked at 1.5Ghz, instead of the previously expected 1.4Ghz single-core CPU.

Apparently, other specs include the smartphone running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), as well as having a 4.3-inch 1280×720 resolution display with a very impresive 342 pixels per inch. The Nozomi is also expected to feature a 12MP Exmor R sensor camera, have 32GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM and will be powered by a 1750mAh battery.

The source of the rumour also believes that the next flagship handset will be unveiled in Janurary 2012, with a planned launch date of March 2012.

Looking at the specs above, we’re really hoping that they are indeed true, but I suppose we’ll have to take them with a pinch of salt at the moment until we hear otherwise from Sony Ericsson.
