Sky Service app manages your accounts on mobile

BSkyB has launched an easy-to-use app for customers to manage all their account settings on the move.

The app is called simply Sky Service and is available now on Android and iOS devices and it allows users to check the service status of phone and broadband, TV and Sky Go also manage their subscription, pay bills and view payments made as well as check what’s actually included in their package and organise settings for both TV and Broadband.

Even if you find yourself in a spot of bother with your Sky services you can get handy support through the app’s FAQ section or review or alter scheduling of any necessary engineer work.

What we notice most of all about the app is that it’s very visual with service status colour coded (green for good service, red if there’s a problem) and icons nicely spaced out. The descriptions are easy to understand offering accessibility to even the most novice of pocket gadget owners and if you do want to take your Sky experience to the next level and have a Sky+ HD subscription the app will help you set up a Sky Go service for TV catch-up and streaming on the go, or to sort any problems with the stand-alone Sky Go app.

Sky Service is available now from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
