Trimming off 0.2 of a millimetre at 6.7mm, the Samsung Galaxy A5 steps forward towards the higher end of the market, retaining the same processing as it’s sibling but noticeably ups a few details. The screen on this one is 5” offering a larger touch surface complimented by a narrow bezel and the camera spec is considerably boosted with 15-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixels up front for selfies that capture your best side.

Both the Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 will arrive initially in China with a stylish metallic finish and running on current Android version 4.4 KitKat and are expected to update soon after the arrival of 5.0 Lollipop. There is as of yet no release date information or acknowledgement that the pair are set to arrive in the UK or other regions.
