Purple Samsung Galaxy S III image appears online

Well if there wasn’t enough Samsung Galaxy S4 information about at the moment it’s looking like the smartphone’s predecessor, the Galaxy S III (or S3), might have one final swan song before its inevitable replacement by the newer, bigger, faster and cooler S4.

And how would the S3 like to go out? Well, in glorious purple it would seem, as some leaked images from notorious leakers @evleaks have appeared online showing a new purple version of the super popular smartphone that may be coming to a supplier near you soon!

Now we have all seen the standard Pebble Blue and Marble White versions of the S3 and some may have even got their hands on the phone in Garnet Red (or even the grey and brown versions) but these new purple images are showing a new more fabulous side to the Galaxy S III.

There are no other details except for the apparent leak, which does look like an official press shot but it’s thought that the purple handset will be offered as a network exclusive to Sprint customers in the US and will possibly come to other countries via exclusive deals.

What we can expect is that the Galaxy S3 will take a good price drop in the coming months in order for the next generation S4 to take off, but with the specs and features on the SGS3 still very high it can only be a good thing to see it become more affordable.
