Netgear announce universal Wi-Fi range extender WN3000RP

This new Netgear WN3000RP should prove to be very useful indeed, especially if like me you struggle to get Wi-Fi everywhere you need it.

Simply plug the Wi-Fi range extender into a power socket and say goodbye to all those “dead” zones in your home where Wi-Fi reception is not existence. The WN3000RP supports 802.11b/g/n and includes the usual security protocols – WEP, WPA and WPA2.

Also, to help you identify the most suitable place to put the range extender, it has a LED which will allow you to put it in the most optimum location for excellent signal coverage.

If you want to get your hands on the new WN3000RP, it’s on sale now from various retailers at $90 (around £55).
