Motorola RAZR i with Intel processing now available on Pre-order – Shipping October 1st

The Motorola RAZR i smartphone made its first appearance just a few days ago, boasting some impressive specs at a price to please, and already the Gadget Helpline’s contacts at Unlocked Mobiles have hooked us up with the details of their SIM-free deal on this nicely priced slice of Android Ice Cream Sandwich goodness.

Delivering powerful processing in partnership with chip maker Intel, the Motorola RAZR i comes driven by a 2GHz Atom processor at its heart and is the first smartphone to include the tech, meaning faster running of games, apps and movies through the device’s 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The multi-touch screen comes in at a tidy 4.3” and features Super AMOLED technology to display the Android software sharply and clearly while you’re whizzing through the web. Storage for this one comes supported by MicroSD expansion, with up to 32GB available.

The Motorola RAZR i is a stylish and sleek looking number but is also built to last with speed and power matched by toughness, with Gorilla Glass used in its construction. Another snappy feature is the 8-megapixel camera with LED flash which grabs images and videos in a high resolution.

Unlocked Mobiles will begin shipping its Motorola RAZR i SIM free stock on the 1st of October and for a reasonably priced £334.98 you’ll get the gadget, battery and charger, USB data cable as well as a stereo headset all thrown in along with the usual 24 months manufacturer’s warranty. And those considering the impressive bit of kit will be pleased to know the smartphone will stay fresh when the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update arrives soon, as promised by Motorola.
