HTC Omega & Eternity: Windows Phone 7.5 handset specs leaked ahead of public event

HTC’s ‘What’s Next” event in London is only hours away, but thanks to several online sources, we’ve got all the specs on both the Omega and Eternity handsets from the Taiwanese tech co., which will be host to Microsoft’s Windows Phone update – formerly known as “Mango”.

Victoria House, Southampton Row was the place announced last week as the place to be for all the new WP7.5 goodies from HTC this evening, but WPCentral and others spilt the beans ahead of time, revealing the tech behind the new wave of Microsoft mobiles. Don’t read on if you are attending and don’t want any ‘Spoilers’.

Starting with the HTC Omega, specs including:

  • 3.8 inch LCD display
  • MSM8255 1.5Ghz processor,
  • 512MB of RAM
  • 8 megapixel camera
  • Quad Band
  • FF camera?
  • BT 2.1
  • 14.2mbps HDSPA

 

The HTC Eternity weighing in with:  

  • Single-core 1.5GHz processor
  • 8 megapixel camera, with autofocus, dual LED flash and 720p movie mode,
  • Front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera
  • 16GB of internal storage
  • DLNA support
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • WiFi
  • GPS
  • 1,650mAh battery
  • Quad-band
  • 130.6 x 70.6 x 9.9 mm
  • 14.2mbps HSDPA
