Fast Free Outdoor Wi-Fi Now Live Across Central London
O2 has launched free O2 Wi-Fi across some of the most popular areas of Central London, from High Street Kensington to Parliament Square in Westminster, in line with the start of this week’s London 2012 Olympics.
The mobile network has launched 8 new Wi-Fi hotspot areas for customers to jump online on their mobile Wi-Fi-enabled devices and access the internet, check emails, and keep in touch on the move across London during this busy time.
O2 Wi-Fi is available in following areas from the end of July 2012:
- High Street Kensington
- Exhibition Road
- Trafalgar Square
- Leicester Square
- Oxford Street (Marble Arch to Oxford Circus)
- Regent Street
- Parliament Square
O2 Wi-Fi’s latest partnership with Westminster City Council and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea will ensure that London’s one million or so daily visitors and commuters can stay online when they’re out and about, as well as those who’ll form part of the 13% increase in visitors over the summer.
Once registered, your Wi-Fi-enabled device will connect to O2 Wi-Fi whenever a hotspot is in range – including those in our other partner venues, which include McDonalds, House of Fraser, and Costa Coffee.
Check out the map above or simply visit the areas to get your free Wi-Fi on.
