More evidence Google’s Music Store is about to launch?

I’m sure you’ve heard some of the rumours over the past few weeks about Google starting its own music store to compete with the giant that is iTunes.

Well, some eagle-eyed person has spotted that if you point your Internet browser to music.google.com from your Android device you will see a landing page which will give you the usual option of being able to download the Google Music app to your Android device. But more interestingly, as you can see from the image below, step 2 details the fact that you’ll be able to “Shop millions of song in Android Market” and “Get song from your favourite artists in Android Market including hundreds of free tracks”.

More evidence?

We told you just a few days ago, how Google is apparently in talks with the four major record labels in a bid to give music loving Internet users an alternative to the dominant iTunes. And now, with the addition of this latest find, could we be a step closer to Google making some official announcement about a new online music store? Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long in order to find out.
