Awesome Video Demo of Ice Cream Sandwich on the ASUS Transformer Prime Surfaces

To a gadget fan there’s nothing better than getting an early look at a new device or some new technology.

Well gadget fans, we’ve got a real treat for you here – three sneak peeks in one. Nvidia has posted a video demo showing off the forthcoming ASUS Transformer Prime Tablet running the very latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update. The third sneak peek? This is the first tablet running Nvidia’s Quad-Core Tegra 3 processor.

The video is unfortunately only 1 minute 30 seconds long, though to be honest; no video showcasing this much new tech could be long enough. In the video we see the Transformer Prime sitting on its keyboard dock, looking super sleek, slim and stylish. Seeing just how incredibly thin the whole package is makes it harder to believe there’s so much tech inside.

Nvidia showcases the new features of Ice Cream Sandwich for us, giving fans an insight into the future of the tablet, which won’t be available in the UK until January. From the off the tablet will be running Android 3.2, Honeycomb, though the ICS update should come through very soon ASUS assures us.

With Android 4.0 you’ll be able to easily create folders containing your apps on the homescreen, as the video demonstrates below. Widgets are also located in the main menu for easy selection when adding to the Android homescreen.

The ASUS Transformer Prime utilises Nvidia’s super powerful Tegra 3 processor to make playing HD games smooth and flawless, as we see with a quick demonstration of Riptide GP. The Quad-Core processor coupled with a high resolution screen means that Full HD 1080p tablets can be played on the tablet, and in the demonstration it looks absolutely stunning.

We’ll leave you to enjoy the video from Nvidia below, but don’t forget to let us know what you think!
