Asda selling iPod Touch for £164 with £15-worth of free iTunes thrown in

  • by

UK grocery-stroke-electronics and entertainment store Asda has brought out a deal that’s music to our ears. Apple’s 8GB iPod Touch is now listed and available on the online store and at 258 local stores for just £164 with a £15 iTunes voucher thrown in to get you started!

The digital media gadget usually retails for at least £44 more than the new price tag and the iPod Touch extends beyond the music to include WiFi connectivity, Games Center support on a generous 960 x 640p retina display, as well as camera and microphone for still shooting and video recording. There’s an addition camera on the front for the friend chat FaceTime service.

With a £15 starter voucher, new iPod Touch owners can enjoy not only the obvious vast music library, but also download movie rentals, TV programmes and audiobooks.

Asda’s audio team says “We’re delighted to be able to offer this exceptional deal to our customers and we’re sure that they’ll fly off the shelves.”

The Apple iPod Touch deal is available from stores, or the Asda web store from today.
