Apple Seem Convinced That Bigger IS Better with the Suspected 12.9 Inch Apple iPad
Apple have always stuck to what they know when it came to the size and appearance of their iPads. Their screen sizes have only ever varied slightly since they came onto the scene all those years ago; but as the market moves forward so must Apple! And they have…or at least plan to…apparently.

According to a report from Bloomberg, Apple is set to launch a new 12.9 inch (diagonally) iPad due to be unveiled in early 2015. No doubt this sudden size shift is down to competitors like Samsung venturing into these larger climbs with their 12.2 inch Galaxy Note Pro and, thanks to Android OS, taking a chunk of the market share with them. Google’s Android OS became top of the leader board last year with 62% of the market leaving iOS dwindling with just 36%- down from 53% the year before.
With the iPhone 6 due to arrive in a larger than usual size (4.7 inch and 5.5 inch screen) in September this year; it seems Apple are trying to take a piece of the big screened pie and follow in their competitors footsteps. Apple has yet to confirm all this publicly of course, but speculations have been lingering for a while so it seems highly probable. Watch this space!
