Android 3.1 update lands on Motorola Xoom in UK

Android 3.1 Honeycomb will now be landing on the Motorola Xoom 10.1” tablet in the United Kingdom, after the States got its glimpse of Honeycomb as far back as May (and recently got a further update to 3.2 about a fortnight ago.)

Finally, UK Xoom owners can enjoy the option to double the size of the tablet’s memory from 32GB to 64GB with MicroSD card support coming with the Android 3.1 update. Also in the Honeycomb update comes some new custom settings for your widgets including resizing, as well as advanced photo transfer options and Adobe Flash – plus more.

The Motorola slab got a massive price slash recently on Amazon, with both Wi-Fi and 3G models receiving up to £85 off of the tablet’s RRP. With Google’s optimized-for-tablet Android dropping now, it’s a good time to Xoom!
