Android 2.3 lands on Samsung Galaxy Tab 7″

Don’t worry little fella – you’ve not been forgotten! Gingerbread is now here for Samsung’s diminutive slab – the 7” Galaxy Tab!

It’s taken a little longer than expected but the update the UK to Google’s Android 2.3 is now starting its roll out on the classic Galaxy Tab, which was launched back in September 2010 with version 2.2 Honeycomb and 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor on board. Samsung’s baby bro tablet is set for a revival this September with dual-core processor speculated to be included – as well as HD display.

The Android 2.3 update report is according to Eurodroid website. However there’s actually been no official word from Sammy yet. If you’re a Samsung Galaxy Tab owner, let us know if you’ve got yours by sending your tweets and comments to the Official Gadget Helpline Twitter as well as our Official Facebook page!
