Adobe launches Adobe Reader on iOS devices

Better late than never as they say,  Adobe have finally launched their PDF reader application for iOS devices, in addition to the company’s other iOS apps they have released over the last couple of months.

Now I’m sure you’ll be aware of the fact that there are indeed many alternative PDF readers available on the App store, however Adobe does offer additional features in their release, for example the ability to share your PDF files easily via email, also share PDF’s between applications and also use Apple’s AirPrint feature to print your PDF’s.

In addition to the above features, Abode Reader also allows you to open a number of different PDF formats which include password protection PDF documents, as well as PDF portfolios and Adobe LifeCycle PDF files.

So, if you fancy giving the new Adobe Reader app a go on your iOS device, you’ll need to make sure you have at least iOS 4.2.5 or later installed, and then head on over to the App Store where it can be downloaded now for free. Adobe also released an Android version in May last year; this has been updated to version 10.1 which brings the features in-line with the latest iOS release.
